Parking in Tenerife — including the honest local picture

Around the studio: free unreserved street parking — easy by day, a few patient minutes in the evening (we share the always-space upper streets with guests). Elsewhere: blue zones = paid, yellow = never, beach lots fill by 11:00 in season.

Home parking, solved

Daytime: spaces within a block, routinely. Evenings (19:00–22:00): the seafront fills — locals go directly to the upper residential streets two minutes' walk uphill, where space always exists. We send arriving guests the current best-street map; it removes the only friction this location has.

Out and about

Los Gigantes marina lot for boat days (early); La Arena's side streets over its tiny lot; Masca has two paid pockets — arrive pre-10:00 or embrace the shuttle options; Teide's trailhead lots overflow 10:00–15:00, dawn wins again; town blue-zones cost little and enforce reliably (verify tariffs).

FAQ

Is parking really 'limited' at the studio, as one review said?

Evenings need those few patient minutes or the uphill streets, yes — free and safe, just not door-adjacent at 21:00. Guests with our street tips stop noticing.

Are there garages if I insist?

Paid garages exist in Los Gigantes (verify availability) — most guests find the free streets solve it.
